Just wanted to clarify a couple of rules that are frequently in question, directly out of the USBC Rules Handbook

1. A falling pin, if TOUCHED by the pinsetter, must be reset and NOT counted as pin fall. (It doesn't matter if it looked like is was going down.)

2. A pin slides off spot on the first ball; if the pinsetter resets it in that spot it stays there. If the pin is out of range and pinsetter knocks it over, the pin must be reset in the original position.

Sorry, a little late, but wanted to express my THANKS to all that helped at the City Tournament last weekend. Kathy & her helpers did a great job selling raffle tickets. Donating a total $584 to the VETS 4 VETS Santa Cruz account. Lori & Pam for the brackets & high game side pots. The juniors for writing down scores. And a special thanks to Andrew and Suzy for always being an anchor and keeping me grounded. Sorry it I missed anyone.
