It's been a tough year with Covid, and we are still waiting until it's safe enough for in-person surf lessons. We hope to resume operations in early Spring 2021 if all goes to plan, but you know how that goes! Stay healthy everyone!

I hope everyone is staying healthy and well this crazy Summer...while surfing is a great way to avoid crowds (most the time - ahem), with COVID-19 numbers on the rise, face-to-face surfing instruction remains risky and challenging to do safely. In the interest of everyone's health, Santa Cruz Surf Academy is not currently offering surf lessons at this time. We sincerely hope to offer high-quality, individualized surfing instruction as soon as it's safe to do so. Thank you for your understanding! In the meantime, we recommend going out for a paddle on a calm day to work on your paddling skills, read the ocean swells, spot wildlife, and enjoy being in the beautiful ocean. Surfing requires fitness, so stay fit and strong!

Stay healthy everyone! We look forward to getting back out on the water with you once COVID-19 restrictions are no longer needed; may that day come soon! No lessons until it is safe to do so again.
