Monterey Bay Crossing - MBX

It is wonderful to see the Monterey Bay Crossing - MBX memories pop up on Facebook this time of year, this race was truly one of a kind. Sadly the times have changed and we doubt the “race” will return but we will continue to cross the Bay because it is a right of passage. For those who have earned their stripes, cherish the memory and never forget that feeling of hitting the beach in Monterey, the after party or the (in)famous bus ride back to Santa Cruz.
Crossing to another shore is magical, don’t stop.

The 2022 Monterey Bay Crossing - MBX has been cancelled.

Outrigger Santa Cruz will be crossing the bay on October 2nd to celebrate a wonderful year for our club.

Reasons for the cancellation are not important at this time but we hope that we can return in the future with the support of our paddling friends in California and beyond.
