Cabrillo GALS is a fastpitch softball league started in 1987. Our league is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers.
Cabrillo GALS is open to kids ages 5 to 15 at all skill levels living in Santa Cruz County. We are thrilled to provide local kids with wonderful opportunities to make new friendships, to learn and improve their skills, and most of all enjoy the valuable experience of being a team member while having fun. Soquel freshman Kiyomi Dunlap pitches no-hitter against SLV | Local Roundup Freshman Kiyomi Dunlap threw a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts, and Soquel High’s softball team shut out San Lorenzo Valley 4-0 in Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League action Thursday.

🥎❤️🚙Gals is headed on the road for our annual field trip to Stanford! Join us at Stanford on Sunday, April 19th. The game starts at noon and tickets are only $15! The kids get to run bases after the game and exclusive to Gals, after the base running, there will be a time our girls will get to play catch in the outfield!
The quality of softball is UNREAL and the girls usually have a chance to meet players after the game and get autographs. Your Gals will be so inspired and will learn a ton just by watching these amazing athletes! 🩵 Gals in the Community 🩵
A few of our Gals got to say thank you to the crew who fixed up the field at their school! The Gals and fellow Bay View Elementary students made a huge thank you card, Gals gifted them special Gals Field Crew hats, and Principal Golder made them fresh cinnamon rolls! We are so grateful to Santa Cruz City Schools for allowing us to show our Gals that teamwork really does make the dream work!

We are bringing you bigger and better prizes in 2026 as we strive to meet our biggest goal yet, $35K! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and every dollar raised counts!! Join us this Sunday at the field for our annual “homerun derby” and league BBQ. We will have awesome prizes to raffle off to those in the crowd!
