The Athletic Banquet on Friday night was incredible and a huge success! It was amazing to see what all the athletes in our department have been doing, and the awards won by individual members as well as team across the department. The UCSC Athletic department is one of the most special there is.
Women's Tennis in particular had a big night. One of our big victories last night was that Women’s tennis received the award for overall highest team GPA! 💥Not just for women, but for the overall athletic department! Way to go ladies! 🎊And then our very own Therese Miranda Recidoro received the award for overall highest female GPA in the entire athletic department! Even further, Ashley Isaac and Therese Miranda Recidoro received individual awards for maintaining a cumulative GPA of over 3.75. We are so so proud to be as driven in the classroom as we are on the courts. 💙🎾💛
And shout out to our UCSC men's tennis team for receiving the award of highest male team GPA! Way to smash it! Thank you UC Santa Cruz Athletics for hosting the event.

Happy Senior Day to our Senior Claire Stoner ! She played a great doubles match against University Texas Dallas, nailing some major volleys. It's been an honor Claire - we love you!
