Mark Langley clinic starts TOMORROW! Auditors welcome, sign up when you arrive (clinic starts 8am).

The dressage arena will be in use from Thursday - Sunday during the clinic.

UPDATE:
The saddle that was on the horse fell off somewhere between the observation deck and the amphitheater on Pine Trail. If you see it can you please either bring it back to the Showgrounds or call Mary Sullivan-White?

After a rider had an unplanned dismount in Henry Cowell, a horse was loose. It has been found and it is reported that rider and horse are OK!

The broken grill at the Clubhouse is being replaced, new one should be installed within a week.

California State Parks has released the proposed Big Basin Redwoods State Park General Plan Amendment (GPA), the Final Facilities Management Plan (FMP), and Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

There will be a Park and Recreation Commission meeting on Thursday, July 2, 2026, which will include a hearing for consideration of the following department recommendations related to Big Basin Redwoods State Park: approval of the Draft General Plan Amendment and certification of the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

There are two spots open for you to bring your horse to the Mark Langley clinic happening June 4-7, 2026, at the Santa Cruz County Horsemen's Assn. showgrounds. The two remaining spots are 2-day only Sat/Sun. (The 4-day spots are all filled.)

You can also come as an auditor! Feel free to sign up on site; the clinic is 8am - 5pm each day.
