You’ve asked for more Barre & here it is! 🥳 New Slow Burn Barre class every Friday at 9:45 am.

Barre may have its roots in ballet, but it has since grown to be a popular workout beyond the dance studio. It is accessible to all fitness levels so you don’t have to be a trained dancer or even coordinated to enjoy the class. Like a traditional Barre class, it starts with pliés. However, as the class progresses, the movements will then build and slowly get harder. This class is designed for the beginner Barre student and advanced student alike.

Yin Yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues- ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body. The aim being to come into the pose to an appropriate depth- rather than pushing, giving your body space to open up and invite the body to go deeper. Once we have found the edge, we settle into the pose and let go of movement. How often do you really rest in a posture that helps you soothe the nervous energy that so many of us battle with daily?

Starting next Saturday, June 19th, join us for hip-hop Saturday BARRE at 11 am 🤍 This class is accessible to all fitness levels so you don’t have to be a trained dancer or even coordinated to enjoy the class. Don’t be fooled, the seemingly simple and small movements are sure to target muscles you didn’t even know existed- making it a true full-body workout. Every movement in a Barre class at Rēf incorporates the Pilates principles: Breath, Concentration, Control, Precision, Center and Flow. End every session with a relaxing stretching segment, some breath work to calm the nervous system, and a cool eucalyptus towel during savasana. 🍃
