The Miller Gym offers expert weight training instruction to women, men and youth of all ages.
The Miller Gym opened in April of 2014 and is the passion of Kim Alderwick and Shane Miller. Their program is free weight based and designed using fundamental principles of exercise physiology. Clients are instructed in their programs and thereafter use the gym at their own convenience under the close supervision of gym staff. Programs are changed every 4 - 6 weeks, assuring continued progress and

It’s her second meet and she put 4K on her total! Requa has rarely missed a competition as a fan in our audience. She loved the meets so much she finally decided to try it herself. Great work, Requa! You’re an inspiration!

Zavia went 6 for 6 and hit some big lifts. Here’s her 86k clean and jerk. It was a blast to see her have such a great day!

We joked that the draft off of Chris Walls’ jerks could cool the room. SO fast. Such precision. And what beautiful mobility for such a big guy. Here’s his 135k final lift. Its a privilege to have him train at our gym.

Maybe the stars of the day were the sun and the moon. It was lucky that the full eclipse took place in the middle of the break between the first women’s group’s sn**ch and clean and jerk sessions. We provided the viewing glasses so people could look directly at the full solar eclipse, a ring of fire.
