California Beach Soccer League

Congratulations to CRUZN for winning Leg 3 of the 2023 California Beach Soccer League in Santa Monica, California yesterday!

The Leg 3 final against SoCal BSC was extremely tight with a score of 3-3 at the end of the 2nd period, but CRUZN was able to open things up by scoring 3 unanswered goals in the third and final period to win the Leg and solidify their 1st place position for the 2023 season heading into the League Championships in August.

In other action, Fuerza had some solid performances throughout the day and edged Castaways out of the "Final 4" to guarantee their inclusion in the League Championships next month.

The 2023 CBSL Championship is tentatively scheduled for August 12th in Santa Cruz, which will conclude the league's second successful season with seven consecutive beach soccer events since inception in early 2022.

A heartfelt "thank you" to all the teams that have participated throughout the past 2 years. We are already in the planning phases for propelling the league to new heights in 2024!

2023 League Standings after the completion of Leg 2. One more leg to go in July prior to the League Championship, which is tentatively planned in late August!

Cali Beach Soccer rose to the top during the second leg of the CBSL going undefeated the entire weekend and taking down the Leg 1 winners, Cruzn, to win the 2nd Leg in a 6-goal thriller, 4-2.

The quality of play was extremely high, and the weather was fantastic. Another successful leg of competition is complete and in the books!
