We’d like to give a warm welcome to - the newest member of our trainers! Vanessa is a fully certified Classical Pilates Instructor in all Apparatus from Core Pilates NYC. She also earned a certification in Advanced Therapeutic Practitioner with Erika Bloom Pilates. Vanessa never stops studying. She specializes in Pre and Postnatal and special cases such as spinal issues, osteoporosis, hip, and shoulder replacements. Vanessa loves to move, dance, and watch people moving beautifully. INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 : Monica Pack (.pilates) A dancer since the age of 3, movement has always been an essential part of Monica's life. In college, she was introduced to Pilates as a flexibility and strength-building method that complemented her dance training, heightening her ability to prevent injury. She fell in love with the practice and technique and recognized its benefits for people of all ages and physical ability. Monica received her complete BASI Pilates certification for all levels with a specialization in dance. Subsequently, she has added rehabilitation, injury prevention, pre/post natal and pre-teen/teen Pilates specializations to her teaching repertoire as well. Monica’s experience with dance and personal training provides her valuable insight that gives clients an individualized, balanced workout that is challenging, yet achievable and fun. When Monica is not teaching, you can find her hiking, dancing, practicing Acro yoga, as well as exploring new flavors in the Los Angeles food scene, all while continuing her Pilates education and teaching training.

With a degree in dance from California Institute of the Arts, Justin employs a classical approach to the Pilates method, but also endorses broadening the scope to be inclusive of contemporary and emerging modalities. INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 : Jeff Grimaldo has been a professional dancer for forty years and a Pilates method practitioner for thirty years. It was through dance that he first was introduced to “the method’s” mat work. He has studied intensively with Jillian Hessel at the Well-Tempered Workout in Hollywood and is a member of the Physicalmind Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico. With over 20 years of studio experience at RE:Form Studio, Winsor Fitness, Bodyline in Beverly Hills, and Sheppard Method Pilates, he has worked privately with elite athletes and dancers as well as the injured and physically limited. Jeffrey believes that the Pilates method is a valuable system for improving body strength and length, but most importantly for learning to connect mind to muscle. It is this body awareness that one can then take into every activity for life.

INSTRUCTOR SPOTLIGHT 🌟 : Andrea Hackin - Before joining The Core Response team Andrea co-owned Body Aligned Pilates in Pacific Palisades for 17 years. She has been teaching Pilates for 23 years. She is certified in Long Beach Dance Conditioning taught by Master Pilates teacher Marie-Jose Blom. She is also fully certified in Stott Pilates and was taught by Master teacher John Garey. Andrea continues to expand her movement expertise through workshops offered throughout Southern California. Andrea is adept at customizing workouts designed for clients with diverse abilities and addressing personal needs. “My goal is to increase clients’ strength, mobility and body awareness, as well as keeping each session interesting, varied, challenging and fun.”
