This past weekend, we wrapped up our Impacted Player Gear Replacement Drive, which—over the past three months—helped 300+ players return to the court after the January L.A. and Altadena fires.
It was all made possible by the incredible generosity of the tennis community—reaching from our own players, to local retailers (especially ‘s )to nonprofits and organizations across the nation, including the USTA and ‘ .
Many of those impacted were local high school and competitive junior players—getting them back on court was our top priority.
This Medal of Kindness from Kindness Wins Foundation is for each and everyone of the individuals, businesses, organizations who made this effort possible.

We’ve received 268 requests, and thanks to our incredible community, 170 players have received replacement rackets and/or shoes so far!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed—your generosity has made a real difference. A special shoutout to and for leading the charge in raising funds and securing new gear. Jon’s dedication has been the heart of this effort, and we couldn’t have done it without him!
As this initiative winds down, we are grateful for all the support that has helped impacted players get back on the court.

Thank You, Community!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our Community Day yesterday! This event came together at the last minute, but with the incredible efforts of our amazing coaches, community partners, and all the wonderful members of our community, it was a truly special day.
It felt like the perfect way to start reconnecting as a community and redefine how we move forward to support the many players—those we know and those we have yet to meet but want to reach—as they simultaneously process and move forward. We can’t begin to imagine how overwhelming it must feel to navigate the loss and uncertainty while also focusing on rebuilding.
Anything we’re doing as a community feels so small, but we hope these simple gestures are received like a warm hug from a dear friend who cares—because we do.
Our gear replacement drive is ongoing, as we know many impacted players aren’t even ready to fill out the form yet. Please continue to share the form (link in our bio) with any individuals, teams, leagues, or schools that may have affected players. .co

Flashback to 2017. These three were 10 and 11 years old, playing on our inaugural teams. Jump forward 7 years; recently committed to , .mccollum to , and is going to be an polar bear. So proud of these three and all of the many other amazing players and thankful to them and their families for letting be a part of their tennis journey. Even when they are no longer playing on our teams, they are still a part of our family( especially Simon, who is literally part of our family😂). It’s been amazing seeing this first generation of players growing up. Their love of tennis finds so many different ways to express who they are and why they are special. We have players who are working with us, coaching younger players, volunteering with our community service programming; no matter what they are doing or where they are going, the glue that holds it all together- tennis.

It’s even more special when your coaches used to be the players!
