Sometimes it’s best to just go old school. One of my favorite exercises, T-bar rows. Great way to build your back, hit your mid traps, rhomboids and your lats. Also, a great way to get in some indirect core work.
Here is a good full body functional movement. Pull into rotational press for 3 sets of 10-15 reps each side.

My client Azad Naficy work involves a lot of traveling, therefore a lot of sitting on airplanes. So, sometimes some of the most basic exercises, like this chop and lift with split squat, can be challenging. This exercise opens up the hip flexor (which shortens and tightens while sitting) while activating the core and the glutes (which are under utilized while sitting).
