Does your child seem determined to climb everything in sight? 🧗♀️
While it may look like they’re simply burning energy, they’re actually doing something incredibly important for their development. Climbing helps activate the vestibular system, strengthen proprioception, improve coordination, and build the brain-body connection that supports learning, attention, emotional regulation, and movement.
This is why movement-rich play is very valuable during childhood. As pediatric chiropractors, we love helping families understand how the nervous system influences development.
A well-balanced nervous system helps children process sensory input, coordinate movement, and adapt to the world around them. So the next time your little one starts climbing, remember:
✨ They’re not just playing.
✨ They’re wiring their brain.
What’s your child’s favorite way to move?

Most conversations about sleep focus on routines.
Earlier bedtime.
Darker room.
White noise.
Less screen time.
And those things can absolutely help!
There’s another piece that often gets overlooked:
sleep isn’t simply something we do. It is a function of the nervous system.
Sleep is a neurological state the body has to be able to enter. When a child’s nervous system is overwhelmed, stressed, or struggling to regulate, being able to settle down and have a calm body to get into restful sleep can be harder.
That’s why some children seem exhausted, yet still can’t stay asleep. Looking deeper than bedtime habits often changes the conversation entirely. ✨

Many parents come in feeling like something is off, but don’t have clear answers. That’s where nervous system scans can be very helpful.
They give us a window into how the body is functioning and adapting, so care can be more specific and supportive. It’s often the first time things really start to make sense. 💛

When your pediatric patient asks for a photo before their adjustment, you absolutely take the photo 😂💛
One thing we love most about caring for kids is getting to see their personalities shine through in every visit. The confidence, the silliness, the tiny little moments of connection — it all matters.✨ These are the moments that make pediatric chiropractic so special!!

“Normal” doesn’t always mean your child is thriving. So many families are told to wait things out, but often these patterns are the body asking for support.
When we look at the nervous system, things start to make more sense. And more importantly — there are options 💛
