Can you imagine winning your division on a 14.7? Riley Young did just that this past weekend at the Woodside Horse Trials with Nikki Lloyd's 16-year-old Thoroughbred mare Paloma Paz (Pablito x Miss Kaitlyn) in the Jr. Starter A division. So impressive 🤩
"What an absolutely incredible weekend with the one and only Paloma Paz," said Riley. “ After a short break, 'Lolo' didn’t just put on her dancing shoes—she pranced, danced, and soared over every jump with grace and enthusiasm. Her excitement to be back on the course was evident in every step she took. Lolo pours her heart into everything she does, and she has the time of her life doing it. Riding such a magnificent and spirited horse is truly an honor.
I’m very grateful to Nikki Lloyd for providing me with the opportunity to partner with this extraordinary horse. A huge thank you to Jennifer McRonald for her unwavering support and coaching, to Stacy Spector for the invaluable pep talks and constant encouragement, and a huge shoutout to my family for making my horse life possible."
We are so proud of you both! Keep up the good riding 👏👏👏

Niko is an adorable 7 year old Halflinger pocket pony! Schooling 1st level dressage and trotting/cantering 2’6” courses, but can easily jump bigger. He is sensitive and forward with a willingness to work and desire to please makes him a great candidate for the show ring. Currently barefoot but has had shoes, x-ties, clips, stands nicely for farrier and easily trailers. Owner has way too many horses and sale of her facility necessities downsizing. Recent X-rays.
