Meditation has the power to lower your cortisol through breath work, sustained internal focus, and creativity. We have all been in fight or flight mode since December 2019 and we may not realize how much it affects our mind and body until we look inward, find stillness for a moment and your gut will speak to you— that little voice deserves to be heard.

Food Tip of the week is HIIT STYLE— as promised, ten minutes or LESS. 🙌🏻 We know it’s SATURYAY & we gotta get in that quick workout so we can get to COLLEGE FOOTBALL WATCHIN’. I hear ya loud and clear folks. So here’s an easy breezy shortcut to a fully balanced, appropriately portioned meal with complex carbs, hella protein, and those greens your body neeeeeds. and .form rarely find time to breathe, let alone workout AND cook?! Phewf. We know you can relate so here it is baby:
Minute rice (brown for the protein & complex carbs, )
1 can chickpeas (no idea of the brand I got them at a gas station 😂)
1 dollop of coconut oil ( 🎯)
1 dollop of pesto ( Filipo Brito Classic)
1 handful mixed greens ( Organic Girl good clean greens — so many handles with that name, if you know the tag please send me the edit!)
1 all purpose fave seasoning (I used ‘s “Original Essence” — thanks for the BAM, Chef 🙌🏻)
Organic Garlic & Herbs EVOO ( )
Himalayan pink sea salt & fresh ground pepper!

A Cossack squat is essentially a deep squat on one leg and one-half of a split on the other. The squatting leg is challenged by reaching full flexion at the hip, knee, and ankle, while the hamstrings and adductors in the other leg are put under significant amounts of stretch…Alf did you know this bad boy is from a DANCE?!?! We will get into the history a little later in the week, but for now…walk it out, I said a walk it out 🎶
