Riverview Soccer is less than a month out from tryouts!
TRYOUT REQUIREMENTS
Without the attached items completed, the athlete CANNOT participate in tryouts. If they show up and have not completed everything, they will be turned away.
Attached is the Home Campus instructions and all of the forms.
If you are returning, Sarasota County Schools no longer use Aktivate. All forms and required items must be uploaded to the new system, Home Campus.
Forms will need to be notarized, where applicable. Once forms are completed, they will need to be uploaded to Home Campus. From there, the school can approve and clear the athlete for tryouts.
TRYOUT DATES AND INFO
GIRLS tryouts are tentatively scheduled:
Mon Oct 12, 5-7pm, Ram Bowl (Registration will open at 4:15)
Tues Oct 13, 5-7pm, Upper Practice field by Ram Bowl entrance)
Thurs Oct 15, 5-7pm, Upper Practice field, if necessary.
We understand Monday is a professional day, but we are at the mercy of 3 football teams’ schedules, the band, and also the boys soccer tryouts, in regard to fields.
Typically, we take 18-22 on Varsity and 16-18 on JV (36-40 total). That means we will have to cut players unfortunately. It can be a cruel process, especially if expectations aren’t managed. We wish we had room for everyone but it’s a numbers game.
FINAL NOTE
