My name is Elizabeth My background in psychology more than 18 years. But in this way in my life, I recognized how is important to connect your spirit, mind, and body altogether. I am a certified Yoga instructor in Yoga Multistile, Kids Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Meditation. Because we tied to sitting at home in front of computers, I decided to provide free yoga classes at Bayfront Park (Sarasota) every Sunday at 3.30 BEFORE doing a Walk and Talk at this beautiful place. All you need is blocks, water, and a yoga mat. If you or your family & friends would like to join us, don't be shy and call me today or leave me a message.

🥰Yesterday was a perfect day for SARASOTA Walk & Talk Coaching group. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️ for participating
We discussed grounding techniques for depression and anxiety and what grounding means.
There are several grounding techniques for depression, but all of them may not be effective in every case. You need to find the one that fits.

🎯Grounding techniques often use the five senses—sound, touch, smell, taste, and sight—to immediately connect you with the here and now.
Pay attention to the coping mechanisms you've already developed to help you get through flashbacks and anxiety and see if you can build on them and/or use them as grounding techniques.

✔️Sight
Complete a crossword puzzle, sudoku, word search, or other puzzle.
Count all the pieces of furniture around you.
Play a distracting game on your tablet, computer, or smartphone.
Put on your favorite movie or TV show.
Read a book or magazine.

✔️Smell
Get some essential oils that remind you of good times (freshly cut grass, rain, clean laundry, or sugar cookies, for example) and smell one.

✔️Sound
Call a loved one.
Put on some nature sounds such as birds chirping or waves crashing.
Read out loud, whether it's a favorite children's book, a blog post, or a novel.

✔️Taste
Bite into a lemon or lime.
Let a piece of chocolate melt in your mouth, noticing how it tastes and feels as you roll it around with your tongue.
Suck on a mint or chew peppermint or cinnamon gum.

✔️Touch
Cuddle and pet your dog or cat if you have one.
Drink a hot or cold beverage.
Grab an article of clothing, a blanket, or a towel and knead it in your hands or hold it to your cheek. Concentrate on what it feels like.
Hold an ice cube and let it melt in your hand.
Massage your temples.
Pop some bubble wrap.

Dance.
Go for a walk or run.
Send a letter or card to someone you care about.
Sit in another room or area for a change of scenery.
Stretch your arms, neck, and legs.
Take 10 slow, deep breaths.

Hello my dear friend!!!🤗
I am writing to introduce myself to you.

My name is Elizabeth. I am from Florida, Bradenton. My family and I from Russia, Moscow. I married 15 years and I have a brilliant daughter 14 years old and intelligent son 11 years old. On 2014 my husband won a green card and we moved to USA from Russia and our life turned upside down.

I 🎓graduated in Russian University of Humanity. I have a PhD in psychology. Counselling and psychology for me is not only profession it is part of my life.

I have more than 🤗15 years’ experience as a psychologist in Russia. I focused on family and children's psychology. Me and my colleges in Russia treated mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems.

When I moved to USA, I evaluated all my diplomas and Floridian education department gave me Doctoral degree.
At the beginning in our American life my husband and I were very frustrated. No one wanted to hire us because we seemed over qualified. My husband was a lawyer in Russia. At that moment our kids looked at us and our attitude to new American life. My husband started his own transportation business, I was hired in CVS pharmacy. After 8 months I get my pharmacy technician license.
Two years ago, COVID happened, and I have to stay home with our kids. I recognized that I can connected with my Russian’s colleges through internet and came back to my profession. I started my own Coaching business online. Step by step I started to work with emigrants who speaks in russian all over the world. I recognized that immigration is a complex issue with social, economic, political and cultural dimensions. But it also has a psychological dimension especially when we speak about families and kids.

By working with me, like family counselor couples and families can find ways to take the maladaptive behavior patterns and turn them into more positive ones. Working like that can mean families stay together in different stressful situations.

Like a mental health counselor and work with families I can Couple and family psychology addresses a broad array of clinical problems as well as relational problems including: alcohol and drug abuse; youth problem behavior/behavior problems; depression; youth hyperactivity; parenting and parent-child conflict; developmental disorders.

I like🥰 to be a counselor, because when I seeing a person walk away lighter, freer, and excited to live their own personal journey after healing from wounds, disorders, and obstacles in their path.
There is nothing better than seeing a human being alleviated from emotional, psychological, spiritual or relational pain.
One of the greatest rewards of being a mental health counselor is being able to have a direct impact on the lives and well-being of clients. Counseling allows me to both prevent and treat psychological distress, which can help clients lead healthier and happier lives.

I would like to be a great counselor for my mental health patients it is my lifelong endeavor. Great counselors never stop learning or improving.
For me, is to continually evolve and strive to be better; whether it's through continuing education or finding time for your own personal practice.

One thing this year of living online with social media has thought me is that comparison is the thief of joy ~


With so many classes courses offerings under cutting competition this year for me personally has been hard as a teacher trying to be Authentic and as a woman trying to build and grow my business whilst trying my best to support others 🤍🙏


I've been supported I've been loved I've been taken advantage of, I've judged I've criticised I've sent love and I've supported🌍🤍


Each lesson is a blessing each season happens for a reason all I can do is be me not let fear of what others think do say knock me off my path 🙏

The lower back is a sensitive 😥 spot for many people. While there can be a ton of causes of lower back pain, a weak core and poor posture from sitting all day (and consequently shortening the hip muscles that then pull on the lower back) are two really common contributing factors to lower back aches and discomfort.

It's always important to figure out what's causing pain so you can address it and prevent it from happening again.

🧘‍♀️🧘But in most situations, doing some gentle yoga can help relieve tightness and give your lower back some relief.

💓My mission and mission in my yoga class is to help students nurture their body, mind, and spirit by clearly and compassionately guiding them through a yoga practice that is skillful, intelligent, and enjoyable.
Studio Shanty Yoga in Sarasota is a down to earth yoga studio. You do not have to be a "yogi" (or even know what that word means) to practice at our studio. I welcome anyone who is ready to relax, work hard, laugh or let go. I believe that yoga is for everyone regardless of age and body type. Whether you can touch your toes or not, Studio Shanty Yoga opens doors and my heart to helping you challenge your physical body and mind.

We are a studio that offers Vinyasa / Yin/ Kids yoga in most level 1 and 2 classes.
I am happy to offer a spectrum of classes however ranging from Stretch and Flexibility classes and sculpt strengthening class formats as well.

💓My mission is to provide a genuine and sustainable yoga practice that will continue to evolve the physical and emotional health of my students. At Shanty Yoga in Sarasota I strive to provide a safe inviting environment where students can develop a regular and realistic yoga practice in different ages from 4 years old.
