New class name, same practice!
Have you ever wondered why our Hatha class is now called Flow?
Here’s why…
The word Hatha is one of the most misunderstood terms in yoga. Many people see it on a schedule and aren’t quite sure what it means—or they assume it’s something completely different than what they’re looking for.
In truth, Hatha simply refers to the physical practice of yoga.
Our class hasn’t changed. The mindful movement, breath, strength, balance, and intention are all still there.
We are simply renaming it Flow because it better describes the experience you’ll have when you step onto your mat.
Yoga is for everyone, and sometimes changing the language helps make the practice feel more accessible.
Same heart. Same practice. Just a clearer name.
Namaste,
Noelle

The Practice of Receiving
One thing I do differently in my yoga classes is that I don’t ask my students to clean up their props at the end of class.
Instead, I offer that as a gift.
For the hour they spend on their mat, they’ve chosen to step away from responsibilities, schedules, caretaking, and doing. They’ve carved out time to simply be, to restore, and to receive.
For many of us, receiving is surprisingly difficult. We are comfortable giving, helping, serving, and taking care of everyone else. Yet when support, kindness, or help is offered to us, we often hesitate.
Yoga teaches balance—not only in our bodies, but in the way we move through life. It teaches us that receiving can be just as sacred as giving.
So when class ends, I invite my students to stay in that space a little longer. To let themselves be cared for. To leave their props behind and carry the feeling of being supported with them into the rest of their day.
Sometimes the deepest yoga practice isn’t doing more.
It’s allowing ourselves to receive.

200-Hour Yoga Immersion & Teacher Training
Beginning August 2026 at Dharma Yoga SRQ
What if a yoga training could be more than learning to teach?
What if it became a space to deepen your practice, reconnect with yourself, and move through life's transitions with greater presence and support?
This 200-hour training is designed as an immersion first.
You do not need to know if you want to teach.
Many who feel called to this program are seeking something deeper—a slower pace, a stronger connection to their practice, and a community to walk alongside them during seasons of change.
If teaching arises naturally, we will support that path with care and integrity.
If not, you will still leave deeply changed.
Over the course of this immersive journey, we will explore:
-Yoga as a lived practice
-Meditation and breathwork
-Yoga philosophy and self-inquiry
-Mindful movement and embodied awareness
-Community, connection, and personal transformation
-The foundations of teaching for those called to share the practice
This training is for those who feel ready to go deeper—not just into yoga, but into themselves.
Applications are now open.

Yoga has carried me through some of the darkest and most transformative moments of my life. What began as a practice became a lifeline—and eventually, a way of life.
More than 18 years ago, I discovered yoga while navigating the heartbreak of losing a pregnancy. Life felt unbearably heavy. It was difficult to show up for myself and meet the demands of everyday life. Then yoga entered my world and awakened something within me—a spark of hope, strength, and healing. People often talk about finding light through yoga, and for me, that light was very real.
Over the years, I have faced other health challenges that have helped me become a stronger teacher and better understand my students. Every day I spend with my students feels like a gift.
Five years ago, I experienced a major health scare. Deep down, I knew something was wrong, and I had to advocate strongly for myself and trust my intuition. As it turned out, there was something seriously wrong—I had a stroke.
I am incredibly fortunate. I was not left paralyzed, and I am still here. Some of my friends and yoga students joked that my crown chakra burst wide open. Looking back, maybe they weren’t entirely wrong.
That experience taught me that yoga truly is for everybody.
After my stroke, I had to rebuild myself through my practice. My balance was gone. Simple things became difficult. I learned to appreciate every small victory, every breath, every moment.
Today, I cherish being able to hold Warrior II. I cherish every breath I take. Every day we wake up is a gift.
This is why it is my dharma to teach yoga—not just the physical practice, but the mental, emotional, and spiritual journey as well.
Yoga didn’t just help me survive some of life’s hardest moments.
It taught me how to live.
Do you want to practice yoga but it seems intimidating? Or maybe meeting yourself where your practice used to be ?
If you’re interested in an immersion of YOGA, yes and I will send you the information ❤️

Ever feel like life moves faster than you can keep up?
Here’s the truth: balance isn’t found… it’s built.
Balance isn’t just something we practice in yoga… it’s something we live.
Off the mat, balance looks like slowing down.
It looks like staying grounded when life feels messy.
Like a tree, if the roots aren’t grounded properly, growth becomes unstable.
Sometimes the best yoga classes aren’t the most advanced.
They’re the ones where we laugh, use all the props, play with one simple pose, and remember that yoga is about connection — not perfection.
And when your yoga community starts to feel like family…
that’s where the real growth happens. 🤍

Reaching overhead is about more than shoulder mobility.
It’s communication between the body, breath, balance, and awareness.
Your ribs expand.
Your side body lengthens.
Your feet root.
Your nervous system learns to trust movement again.
When those pieces stop working together, everyday life can slowly begin to feel harder…
not because you’re weak,
and not because you’re aging “wrong” —
but because the body craves practice in moving with awareness.
Real life asks us to reach, twist, carry, balance, and adapt every single day.
That’s why mindful movement matters.
Not just to stay “fit,”
but to stay connected to yourself.
To move through life with more ease, confidence, and freedom.
These kinds of drills help restore coordination, presence, and trust in the body — so daily movement keeps feeling natural instead of frustrating.
