All projects arise in response to a need. Someone(s), somewhere, has a need and that kicks off the project process. Clarifying the need - and the work to meet that need - is the first key step. Misdirection at this point may be a major contributor to rework, change, and missing success criteria. Consider spending more time upfront to set a solid foundation for your project. January posts will be focused on Project Scope Management. In the meantime, Happy New Year! (And, do you have a clear definition for your 2015?)

Training is a great team building activity - and a good way to start off the New Year as your teams look at what can be done more of/ instead of/ in delivering value added projects. Focus any session or series of sessions around your projects and project processes!
