As a way to wrap up Homecoming Week, Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School is excited to have a Mooney Alumni Volunteer Day with the Miracle League of Manasota on Saturday, October 10!

All Mooney Alumni are welcome to come out and volunteer as a buddy at the Youth Games alongside the current Mooney students and Miracle League buddies!

The Miracle League of Manasota is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for differently-abled children and adults in Sarasota and Manatee counties to play baseball. The mission of the Miracle League of Manasota is to share the love of baseball with children, teens, and adults with disABILITIES.

Please fill out the Google Forms to RSVP by using the link, or by scanning the QR code. Family and friends of Mooney Alumni students are welcome to join and participate!

This evening, what we experienced was so much more than a visit to an incredible facility, It was a day filled with hope, joy, and unforgettable moments made possible by an organization that truly understands the power of kindness.

To the amazing staff, players, and everyone who poured their hearts into our Miracle League of Manasota Pittsburgh Pirates Day...thank you. You didn't just welcome our athletes—you celebrated them. You saw their abilities, cheered their victories, shared their laughter, and made every player feel like the star they truly are.

The smiles, the high-fives, the hugs, the encouragement, and the genuine love you showed created memories our families will carry in their hearts forever. Those moments can't be measured by wins or losses—they are measured by lives touched and dreams fulfilled.

Thank you for reminding us that heroes don't always wear capes. Sometimes they wear baseball uniforms, volunteer badges, or simply show up with open hearts and a willingness to make someone else's day unforgettable.

Today, you gave our Miracle League families something priceless: the joy of belonging, the thrill of being celebrated, and memories that will last a lifetime.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being champions—not just of baseball, but of inclusion, compassion, and community.
