How often should you weigh yourself?
Every day.
Wake up, use the restroom, weigh yourself, and log it.
We naturally have weight fluctuations.
So what happens if you only weigh yourself once a week and last week you happed to have a low fluctuation, and this week you happen to have transient high weight fluctuation.
You could weigh the same, be discouraged, quit, or lower your calories.
But, if you weigh yourself daily, and then take that weeks average rate to the next weeks average weight, it smooths over those peaks and valleys and shows you an accurate representation of your weight loss.
Offseason is going well and I’m slowly growing and pushing the calories.
If you have ever thought about getting a coach, do it. Even if it’s not me.
I haven’t been as excited for a growing season as I am now in a very long time.
You know why? Because I got a coach.

Because just like you, I need someone to be accountable to.
I need someone that understands what is important in my programming to ensure my progress and design a program that I can just follow and not question to take that burden off myself.

Just ordered a Peloton for the gym. We are always trying to find ways to add value for our members and training clientele, and this seemed to be a great addition to Evolution.
Some fun core work for clients and friends Daniel Völz .
For a resilient and functional core, you need to train in different planes of motion and movement patterns, such as rotation. 💪🏼💪🏼

🇺🇸Remember and Honor
So today I finally tried out the workout traditionally done by CrossFiters on Memorial Day.
It’s called Murph. You complete the workout in the picture with a 20 # weight vest on as fast as possible.
It was originally made to honor Lieutenant Michael Murphy, a Navy Seal killed in Afghanistan in 2005, but now serves to remember all those who have been lost.
I completed it in 39:58, which is supposedly a very respectable time.
But, I don’t have a weight vest, so obviously that made it easier.
Although, I did already do 2 leg heavy metcons and a full back/bi workout. Oh and I’m a horrible runner. Those were 9:30 miles and were by far the hardest part for me lol.
I can’t wait to retry this fresh and start practicing this workout, and get a vest to make it official.
