Missing the camaraderie and challenge that came with sports?
We’ve worked with many people who previously played competitive sports or were part of careers and lifestyles that demanded physical performance and excitement. Finding that same sense of purpose and community after stepping away can be difficult.
CrossFit can be an incredible transition. Not only does it provide a supportive community and challenging workouts, but we also offer opportunities for those who want to pursue competition. Through our competitors’ programming and coaching guidance, athletes can continue to grow and test themselves at local and higher-level events.
We’re proud to see three Real Fitness Sarasota athletes qualify for high-level competitions through our programming and training approach along with their incredible dedication and level of experience.

Oooo, CrossFit.

Sounds scary, right? You don’t want to get hurt. It looks intimidating. It seems hard. Maybe you’ve heard it’s annoying, or you’re worried about getting “too big.”

Well, guess what? After more than two decades, CrossFit is still here and we’re still watching people change their lives.

We’ve seen people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels gain confidence, transform their body composition, discover what they’re capable of, and find a community that supports them both inside and outside the gym.

Whole30 starts soon!

If you’ve been wanting to reset your eating habits, learn more about how food affects your body, or simply challenge yourself to be more intentional with your nutrition, this is a great place to start.

Whole30 isn’t about being perfect or restricting yourself forever, it’s about taking 30 days to focus on real, whole foods and paying attention to how you feel along the way.

You might discover more energy, better sleep, fewer cravings, improved digestion, or just a healthier relationship with food. The goal is awareness.

When was the last time you truly slowed down?

Most of us spend our days bouncing from work, finances, school, workouts, family commitments, and everything else life throws at us. We’re so used to being in go-go-go mode that we forget our bodies need time to rest, too.

Restorative Yoga is your invitation to pause. To breathe. To let your nervous system shift out of fight-or-flight mode and reconnect with the parasympathetic state, the place where healing, recovery, and relaxation happen.

If you’ve been feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or just tired, this class is for you. Come as you are and give yourself the gift of slowing down for a little while. ✨

Progress comes from consistency, not occasional effort.

The members seeing results right now are the ones who kept showing up, especially on the days it would’ve been easier not to.

We’re entering the final month of Phase 2 of Committed Club. If you’ve been in it, this is your reminder to stay consistent and finish what you started. Small efforts still matter at this stage.

If you’re not currently training with us, this is what our gym is built around: a place people actually keep showing up to, because accountability is built into the coaching, the programming, and the community.

From athlete to coach.
Joe has always led by example through hard work, consistency, and dedication. Now he’s taking the next step by joining our coaching staff after earning his CrossFit Level 1 certification and completing his internship.
Starting June 4, you’ll see Coach Joe leading Thursday morning classes and helping our members become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
