Hola everyone, below is the link to my 2026 beach training letter. I'm looking to start this Saturday at 8:30am at Bee Ridge Park and next week at Siesta Key Beach(Come enjoy some awesome sunsets). Hola everyone, very proud of my Elite 12 Red team for playing hard, believing in themselves, having great teamwork, and winning the AAU Grand Prix Florida State Championships in Wesley Chapel this past weekend. We lost a match in 3 sets the day before to the same team we beat in the gold championship match on Sunday. One of our middles, Mina, has an amazing 17 kills in that championship match out of 19 attempts. It was a good weekend and I’m looking forward to the next 3.5 weeks until AAU Nationals in Orlando.

I also got to witness a great match between two of our 15 teams and the 3rd team i coached this weekend, our Elite 16 Navy II won the bronze championship. So happy for them. Thanks.

With the time change, My beach volleyball training starts very soon! As soon as my HS beach season is over. Aprox, Apr 22. Reach out if interested. Looking forward to a great group of kids and a great summer. 🙂

We won our Regional quarterfinal match last night! On to the Regional Semis on Saturday in Naples. This team has already accomplished so much and many milestones were met throughout the season. Very proud of them.

So proud of our Sarasota Christian Varsity team. Fought hard against a very tough Keswick Christian team and lost the district championship in 3 sets. 3rd set was 26-28! We ended District runner up and 4th see in the region and always have time for Culver’s after an away match. Playing in the Regional Quarterfinals Tuesday at 6pm at Sarasota Christian. Come watch and say Hi! 😊

So due to a change of career, those near me know what happened, i'm available for small group indoor volleyball lessons weekdays during the day until 3:30pm and weekends all day. After HS season, i will have more availability. From beginner to advanced level players. I can also come to your elementary/middle school, etc for a team lesson/pratice. Contact me if interested.

I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes yesterday! This time of year it’s bittersweet for me as I lost my mom 8yrs ago on July 21st. RIP Amalia Rios. On a positive note, I had a wonderful homemade carrot cake, made by Brenda and my daughter who is here visiting until mid Aug, received a few gifts, and my daughter also made me a hand-drawn card from scratch. That was the highlight of my day! ❤️. Very good bday if you ask me. Celebrations to be continued this weekend!

Such a good time today at the coaches clinic with Jim Stone and the other Elite volleyball coaches! Such an honor to meet and exchange coaching ideas with him. Coaches dinner at Patrick’s was also pretty good, celebrated Justin’s bday also. Thank you Justin and the BOD! The Jim Stone player camp is this week. Sign up if you haven’t yet.
