The Survivors In Sync OC6 crew has arrived in Chattanooga and is ready for race day!

After an early morning of lining up and rigging the canoe, all that's left is to hear the starting gun at 8:30 tomorrow morning!

Survivors In Sync is United In Pink every month of the year! Are you a breast cancer survivor? Join us.

UNITED IN PINK: Nathan Benderson Park is bringing the Suncoast community together for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Throughout October, the park is hosting events to celebrate survivors, support those battling breast cancer and honor lives lost to the disease.

The initiative includes Pink Fridays, dragon boating opportunities and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 24, which is expected to draw more than 6,000 participants.

Every finish line begins long before race day. It begins with the decision to show up when nobody is watching. It begins with the sacrifices, the setbacks, the victories, the lives put on hold, and the miles that never make the highlight reel.

As we enter our final week before Chattajack, here's a look at the last chapter of our preparation before we take on one of the most challenging and beautiful endurance paddling races in the country. Chattanooga, we're coming!

Thank you, Coach Jason Geiger. Your passion for Chattajack, dedication to the sport, and commitment to training have shaped and inspired each of your girls in ways that will last a lifetime. The memories and lessons you've given us are truly priceless. We love you! ❤️

For a $25 donation per extension, 100% of your contribution benefits Survivors In Sync. John Gregory Salon donates the extension hair, installation and professional removal labor. Additional donations are always welcome.

Professional removal is included. These are true extensions and must be removed by a stylist. Please do not try to remove them yourself.

Founded in 2013 by breast cancer survivor Angela Long, SIS is a Sarasota dragon boat community based at Nathan Benderson Park. Through fitness, wellness education, friendship and empowerment, SIS helps breast cancer survivors build strength and connection.
