Happy Wednesday!! Coach Grace here, π just thought l'd share a quick backstory of how I got into health and fitness. π
I was an Au Pair in Sydney Australia, and while I was there, I signed up for group fitness classes in parks or on the beach. Which I never attended and always ended up canceling because I was too insecure in my own body to participate. π
Instead, I started working out in my room with random objects since I didn't have any weights.
After returning to the US and moving 12 hours across state, settling into a new job & routine, I started walking daily, which eventually turned into running. I LOVED running... at first! It eventually turned into a way to lose weight along with a vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting. π£
For several years, I tried so many different things/diets ranging from intermittent fasting to keto. I spent money on supplements, drinks, programs, all the things that promised "fast" weight loss. Which NeVeR worked! I remember SO many days and nights that I would be SO hungry and not let myself eat because I "thought" that was the only way to achieve weight loss.
Thankfully, I stumbled across an amazing independent coach who helped me learn that food isn't bad, you don't have to spend hours in the gym everyday working off what you ate. There IS a way to achieve YOUR health & fitness goals without restricting foods or spending countless hours in the gym! π₯³
I have since become a Certified Personal Trainer and work with a wide range of different clients, whose goals & needs are never the same. I mean come on, we're all very "unique" π individuals and no ONE plan is the same for everyone. ππΌ
