Turmeric/Curcumin
When you bump your shin, it hurts. If you bump it hard enough, it’ll also swell. It may look red and then be warm to the touch. These symptoms are all signs of inflammation: pain, swelling, redness, heat, poor function .
Inflammation can be caused by quick and obvious factors, like a bump on your shin. It could also be caused by slow and hidden factors, like infections, nutrient, deficiencies, or stress.
When the adrenal glands are working properly, they can shut off the inflammation as soon as its work is done. But when your adrenal function is not at its best, that inflammation is poorly controlled, and this can manifest as chronic pain. If the adrenals do not regulate the inflammation as they should, the repair may not be completed and the pain may become ongoing.
Pain and inflammation may drive Cortisol levels higher. Inflammation is also a possible cause for high Estrogen and high Progesterone levels. It is a cause for many chronic illnesses, which is why it is imperative to lower inflammation in the body.
