Thoughtful movement lessons (not a ‘how to swing’ lesson), guide participants to ‘listen’ to their movements while they move in easy—yet often unusual ways. The attention to HOW you move as well as the actual movements of the lesson easily transfers into better balance, alignment and timing for the golf swing. Golfers who find benefit include the scratch golfer who gives time to study his/her game as well as the golfer who is having difficulty with his/her swing. Bonnie Kissam, physical education teacher in the West Hartford Schools ’69-’79 developed this Workshop when she realized her golf game improved dramatically after studying The Feldenkrais Method®. She has taught this workshop for the past several years through continuing education programs in the Hartford area.
