Sarasota BMX - we are sorry to have to cancel tonight’s race. It is summer, schools out, state season is over, people are going on vacation are all reasons why we have to cancel tonight. It takes volunteers and riders for a race to happen and we are lacking both.
It’s all good as it has been a long season. We all need a break before our Summer Track Jersey Series starts in July.
See you all tomorrow for our Saturday’Home Roots’ Open Ride and Training.

What an incredible weekend spent preparing Team USA for Brisbane with Fede Villegas and Caleb Minthorn! We are so proud of these riders and everything they’ve accomplished to earn their spot on the world stage.

Thank you again to the families who traveled from across the country to be part of it. Now it’s time for Australia!

Sarasota BMX hosted the first annual ‘Worlds Ready BMX Camp’. It was a huge success due to all the preparation and effort put in by Michelle, Adam and Sydney. Coach Fede Villegas and Coach Caleb Minthorn had their work cut out for them but they executed the entire weekend with perfection. They were able to simulate a Worlds event for the riders without a hitch. It truly was an amazing experience for all the riders who participated. No doubt the USA will bring home some gold from Brisbane.
It was amazing to have 28 riders from 9 States and 15 Tracks come together prior to leaving for Australia, getting acquainted, sharing experiences and knowing they will have everyone’s support when they get there. Good Luck and have a safe trip.
