We’re excited to introduce a new class at SwimSRQ: Stroke Squad.

Stroke Squad is a 45-minute advanced class for swimmers who are currently in or have completed Intermediate 2, built around stroke refinement and endurance. It gives kids the extra time and higher-intensity work that competitive swimming demands — dialing in technique across all four strokes while building the stamina to swim longer sets.

It’s a great fit for two kinds of swimmers: those getting ready to join a swim team who want a head start on the technical and conditioning demands, and current swim team athletes who want focused, individualized stroke work outside of team practice.

Stroke Squad is offered in two age groups: 5–7 and 8–12. Stroke Squad will be led by master coach Terri Leap, who has over 30 years of experience coaching athletes of all ages and abilities.

Starts: Saturday, October 3rd
Location: Sarasota Sports Club (SSC) at TPC Prestancia
Price: $32/class
Schedule: Saturdays only — because of this, any makeup classes will be scheduled in an Intermediate 2 class

1st day of Swim Intensives at Skye Ranch in the books! What a beautiful facility and great community! We are thrilled to be able to offer swim lessons there! The first session sold out, but the 2nd session starts next week and there are still a few spots available!
