Nathan Benderson Park is proud to host the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk tomorrow, Sat. Oct.24! 🎀 We’re honored to welcome thousands of survivors, fighters, families, friends, and supporters who come together to celebrate hope, honor loved ones, and make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

💗 Wear pink. Show your support by joining the walk and sharing your pic in front of these inspiring images of hope created by Oh What Fun Party Co. with other fighters and supporters all around the world to let them know they are not alone. Walk for a cause that touches so many lives.

Every step represents strength, every ribbon represents hope, and every person who shows up helps make a difference. Together, we’re making strides toward a future where breast cancer can no longer take so much from so many.

Sarah has spent more than 12 years helping make regatta excellence happen at NBP, working alongside event rights holders, organizers, and rowing partners to bring world-class competitions to life. From the countless details behind the scenes to the split-second problem-solving that keeps major events moving, Sarah brings the expertise, dedication, and heart that make extraordinary events possible.

She’s the kind of person who can turn a mountain of moving parts into a championship-worthy experience. And if you’ve ever seen what it takes to put on a world-class regatta, you know that deserves a medal of its own! 😉🏅

Canceled ⛔️⛔️😞 we were ready for rain and pours, but lightning was something we could not work around. Unfortunately, due to too many lightning strikes detected in the area all day, long, and out of an abundance of safety for our rowers, paddle and the general public, we are canceling Oktoberfest today. We are so disappointed as well as I’m sure many of you are. Thank you to those who came out yesterday and had a ball with us! See you next year!
