Jumping is essential to longevity training!
*of course it is safely progressed in each individuals program
Here's why!!
🦴 Increases bone density — Impact loading gives bones a stimulus to maintain strength.
💪Improves muscular power — we lose the ability to produce force quickly as we age, if it's not preserved!
⚖️ Improves balance and stability — Challenges the body to control landing and respond to changes in position.
🦵Strengthens tendons and connective tissue — Progressive loading can improve tissue capacity and resilience.
🚶Supports functional movement — The ability to generate and absorb force helps with stairs, getting up quickly, and other daily activities.
🧠 Improves neuromuscular coordination — Requires the brain and muscles to communicate rapidly.
🛡️May improve fall resilience — Training controlled landings and rapid force production can help develop physical qualities important for recovering from a loss of balance.
🏌️Helps maintain athleticism with age - Preserving power and impact tolerance can help you remain physically capable as you get older.
Important: Jumping isn't appropriate at the same intensity for everyone.
Start with low-impact variations-such as heel raises, pogo-style movements, step-ups, or controlled mini-jumps—and progress from there 🏆
You will age.....YOU get to decide how you will age!

Raise your standards if you want results.
If you want to feel better, move better, and age better, it often takes raising standards on how much you will commit to exercise, what you will no longer eat, what new habits you will add, and what unhelpful habits you will quit.
This last month I have seen many Living Younger clients raise their standards. One man quit smoking. One person decided they needed to raise their standards standard to 6 workouts per week. One person decided to eliminate all dairy. One person raised their standards standard on how much sleep they needed. Another woman decided to add two days of zone 2 cardio to her week.
This quote above is from Tony Robbin’s is one of my favorite 😍.
What are some standards you need to raise in your life to get the results you want?
Why Qigong?
