There is a saying if you are too busy to fish then you are just too busy. We have been too busy for sure, but finally had a free weekend to do some damage in the Grand Snapper Slam winning both the Yellowtail and Vermillion division even with one engine down on the way home.

I didn't expect to fish this weekend, but when the CEO of Raymond James and Associates asks you to fly to Andros and bonefish I jumped on the opportunity and we had a blast.

We just returned from an unbelievable 7 day stay in the Amazon in Bolivia. The pictures really don't this place justice. We always joke about catching dinosaurs but these fish really are and this place is exactly how it was 100 years ago. Sadly there isn't many places like this left in the world. Please feel free to ask me any questions on the lodge as I am an ambassador for them now after our memorable experience.

Happy Birthday to Connor, who only wanted to take his friends fishing for his birthday. The red snapper and conditions both cooperated for us, giving everyone a trip to remember.

It's been a while, but we finally got a weather window and a rainbow showing us where the monsters were. I can't stress how easy it is to handle every fish with our custom marshtacky carbon gaffs. A clean shot every time.

All I asked Santa for was a weather window and he took care of it for us. From sunrise to sunset yesterday beautiful weather for December 26th.
The battle wagon is getting a couple upgrades, which left a perfect opportunity for her to get all shined up and looking pretty.
