Dear Viper Friends,
I am thrilled to let you know that the registration for the 2021 Viper & VX One Sarasota Winter Series is up, live, and ready for you to sign up and let us know you are ready for some great sailing. With the support of our friends at Sail22 and MarkSetBot and our always fantastic staff and volunteers at Sarasota Sailing Squadron, I am very confident that we will be able to offer fantastic racing on the water and a COVID-safe and highly hospitable shoreside experience in our wonderful city in the sun.
Using the link below, you should be able to register for any combination of the three events AND pre-pay for onsite storage for the times between the events and early arrival or late departure. We will be shooting for a three-day event in March and have set the dates to allow and encourage teams to also sail in Miami in March. As always, please feel free to reach out to me directly if you need any help in making your plans or logistics work out. See you down here! [email protected]

Keeping with the thread of Lost and Found, a Annapolis NOOD hat was recovered on the racecourse and can be handed back to whomever owns it.
AND
Peter and Team on #193 got his boat home only to find that his Grey/Yellow/Grey spinnaker was not in it's bag in the boat. It is not laying around the property at SSS so most likely ended up in someone's boat or car. He would love to get it back:)

Will do a full sweep of the SSS for Viper lost and found today but this Large Atlantis spray top was drying on a piling near the Stone House. Anyone know the owner?

Big thanks to all those that made the 2017-18 Ocean One Yacht Tenders Sarasota Viper Winter Series happen! Huge Congrats to Zeke Horowitz and his crew for taking the series title for the third year running. It was super close with Brad Boston tying on points and Jay Rhame/Peter Beardsley only two points back!

OK folks, here are a few items I am looking for homes for.....we can pinpoint who forgot their kite on the lawn (and needs to be ridiculed for it) but I don't know for sure if the rivet gun belongs to a Viper sailor? Any help would be appreciated

Congrats to Jay Rhame sailing with Peter & Rachael Beardsley for taking the convincing win in the kick off December event of the Ocean 1 Yacht Tenders Sarasota Viper Winter Series. The crew of Great Scott made it look easy in very tricky and light conditions, winning all four races sailed. Results here-http://www.regattanetwork.com/event/15544 +results

Looks like 21 boats on the line for the December event Saturday. SI's are posted with a competitor's meeting at 1030 and the first start at noon. The weather is forecast to be 75-80 degrees with 8-10kts....we will trade some lower temperature for some more breeze, if any of you northerners want to bring some cooler weather and 5-8kts more pressure down with you.
