The course was in excellent shape for some very competitive golf. The Club Championship saw a repeat winner for the men - Chris Kupniewski. David Smith is The Barret Nichols Sr Champion with Jim Reuther as the Net Champion. Wendy Gillies is the returning Ladies Champion with Wendel Dendel as the Net Champion. Congratulations to all!🏆⛳️

Easter is just around the corner, but the Bunny has already visited The Meadows Country Club. Our Cartin’ with the Peeps event was topped off with a hole in one by Steve Gillies, and Steve and his wife Wendy enjoyed Closest to the Pin honors. We weren’t having a bowl of Lucky Charms this past Sunday, but we certainly had the 4 leaf clovers and Leprechauns out in force for our Catch a Lucky Leprechaun Par-Tee golf outing. Participants were “Green with envy” over each other’s wardrobe choices and had a great time competing in a fun scramble and later enjoying lunch and beverages.
Some of those that placed in the event include Charlie Cullen, Mary Williamson, Bill Chapman and Bryan Golden coming in 1st place.

The Meadows Men’s Member Guest was competitive camaraderie at its best. Guests came from as far west as Seattle, WA, and throughout the U.S., to enjoy time with their golf buddies. The event included (5) 9-hole Best Ball competitions, Stag Night, Breakfast, and a 3-Hole Shootout.
Participants received a pair of Foot Joy shoes, FJ shirt, and Callaway golfballs.
The ultimate winners were Bill Snow and John Radgowski. Flight winners include – Mark Walters & Mark Torgent, Terry Browne & John Benney, William Snow & John Radgowski and Larry Marziale & Carmen Giuliano.
We wish everyone traveling a safe journey back to the cold, and look forward to your return next year.

The first round of The Men’s Member Guest concluded this evening. Lots of great food, fun competition followed by Stag Night. Mark Szal was the big winner of the chipping contest. Looking forward to Round 2 tomorrow.

The 18 hole & 9 hole LGA Member-Guest Invitational experienced great weather and even better friendly competition. 18 hole winners this year were Augusta Kairys, Karen Culley, Kathy Farrell & Michelle Mankey.
The 9 hole LGA Member-Guest had two groups competing – the “Inner-Loop” and “Outer-Loop”, with 65 competitors. 9 hole winners include; Sue Jacobson, Laurie Teachout, Harlean Satin, Phyllis Frederick (outer-loop). Judy Martin, Debbie Swinford, Nancy Murphy, Ann Vankouwenberg (inner-loop).
The theme for the 18 Hole was “Blue Bayou”, and the 9 Hole theme was “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”. The foursome of the Tin Man, Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion, and Dorothy were not in attendance. LOL
The Golf Shop Team is busy this week, with the Men’s Member-Guest starting tomorrow, and ending on Saturday. Stay tuned for more information and pics.

We had a SUPER time at our USTA Larry Turville Super Senior Tennis Tournament! The Meadows Country Club hosted over 100 accomplished seniors from across the nation, who competed all week for wins, ranking points and prize money.
