Seeking a motivated, year-round flexible and/or full time Guide/ rental expert/ outdoor, water & nature lover!
It is highly seasonal due to its tourism based nature but is year round with shorter days in the off season, and long, busy days in season !
-Will be guiding Tours and Launching self-guided rentals of Kayaks & Paddleboards in the Mangrove Tunnels on South Lido Key!
-Experience is a plus, but not mandatory as long as you are willing to learn and are good with people and customer service.
-Must be physically able to lift multiple kayaks over your head by yourself (up to 10 or 20 vessels per day during busy times)
-Must have Valid Drivers license without too many points on it 😅, and be able to drive our company truck with kayak trailer in tow to and from Ted Sperling Nature Park on Lido Key and our storage facility just North of downtown.
-Pay based on experience, but we guarantee $17-$18/hr (plus tips) even on the slowest days! Potential for a day rate plus commission based on number of vessels out each day which is well above the 17-18 / hour starting pay…
-Incentives / bonuses for walk-up customers and 5⭐️ reviews!
