Derrick Legall has been selected for induction into the Class of 2026 New York State Baseball Hall of Fame!

The New York State Baseball Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made a lasting impact on the game of baseball throughout our state—not just through their accomplishments on the field, but through their dedication to the people and communities that make the game so special.

As you all know, this recognition couldn't be more deserved. For years, Derrick has selflessly dedicated his time, energy, and heart to the youth in our community. Whether he's organizing the season, mentoring young players, supporting coaches and volunteers, or simply doing whatever needs to be done behind the scenes, Derrick has always put our Little League families first.

His passion for baseball goes far beyond the game itself. He's helped kids learn, grow, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of baseball. His leadership has made our league stronger, and his commitment has touched the lives of so many players and families over the years.

Congratulations, Derrick on this incredible and well-deserved achievement. We can't wait to celebrate with you!!

This team is selected based on All Star performance by the assigned district administrators who attended the games at all sites.

The boys take the field this Saturday and Sunday at the Duanesburg Little League Field.

A big thank you to a few of our incredible volunteers who spent the day rolling up their sleeves and giving our fields some much-needed TLC! 👏⚾

Today they spread fresh infield mix and repaired large areas on both our Majors and Minors fields, helping ensure they’re safe and in great shape for the rest of the season.

These improvements don’t happen on their own—they happen because of dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and energy to our league. We are so grateful for all you do. Thank you for making Saratoga Springs Little League a better place for our players! 💙🤍⚾️

We can’t wrap up All-Star season without recognizing our 12U team! 💙💛

Our Saratoga Springs 12U All-Stars wrapped up their tournament run in early July after battling hard against Scotia and Rotterdam. This group represented Saratoga with grit, teamwork, and determination all summer long.

Now they’re on to their next chapter—13U tryouts! Best of luck, boys. Thank you for a great season, and know we’ll always be cheering you on! ⚾👏

Our Saratoga Springs 11U All-Stars wrapped up an incredible tournament as the New York State Little League 9-11 Division Runners-Up!

This team battled through every challenge with grit, resilience, and heart. Along the way, they delivered thrilling walk-off wins, late-inning rallies, dominant offense, outstanding pitching, and countless unforgettable defensive plays - truly a complete team effort.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and families on an unforgettable summer. Finishing as the New York State 9-11 Little League Runners-Up is an extraordinary accomplishment and one these boys will remember for years to come!

Thank you to everyone who cheered them on, volunteered, and supported this team every step of the way.

Holy Cow!!

Another big win for Saratoga Springs today! 💙⚾

Saratoga Springs Little League 11U defeated Smithtown 15-4 today, using a huge fifth and sixth inning to pull away.

🔥 Ryder P led the offense with 3 hits and 5 RBIs, including two doubles and a sacrifice fly. Sawyer M had a perfect day at the plate, going 4-for-4, while Max A contributed multiple hits, earned the complete-game win on the mound, and drove in key runs during the decisive fifth inning.

The team pounded out 20 hits, with multi-hit games from Sullivan T and Weston M, and showed great discipline by drawing six walks. Defensively, Saratoga played a clean game with no errors, highlighted by Wyatt C, who handled eight chances flawlessly.

A great all-around team effort as Saratoga continues its strong All-Star run! 💪⚾💙

Next game is tomorrow at 6p against Massapequa! It’s a double elimination tournament, so SSLL will need to beat them 2x.

🔥 Another big win for Saratoga Springs Little League 11U All-Stars!

🔥 The team will play Smithtown at 6:30p today and the winner faces Massapequa in the championship game tomorrow!

Saratoga defeated Great Kills 10-7 today in an exciting back-and-forth game, using a huge five-run fifth inning to pull away.

Beck M had a phenomenal day at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a home run, double, single, and 2 RBIs. Sullivan T and Ryder P also collected three hits each, while Sawyer M delivered a clutch two-run single during Saratoga’s decisive fifth inning.

Wyatt C earned the win in relief, and the team pounded out 15 hits while playing flawless defense with no errors.
