A lot of people know me as Coach Reba, but I thought I’d share a little more about the person and the why behind Battleground Fitness.
I started Battleground Fitness in 2020 with one simple goal: to help people. I wanted to create a place and a community where people felt supported, challenged, and welcomed, no matter where they were in their journey. Watching friendships form, confidence grow, goals get crushed, and lives change has been the greatest privilege of my career.
The name Battleground Fitness came from the Battle of Saratoga, a symbol of strength, resilience, and triumph. Every person who walks through our doors is fighting their own battles. My hope has always been that Battleground Fitness is a place where people feel supported through those battles, and it has helped me through some of my own battles as well.
Movement has always been one of my greatest passions. It honestly doesn’t take much to talk me into trying something new. I love seeing what my body and mind can do. Movement teaches us that we’re capable of so much more than we think.
Outside the gym, I’m just a country girl at heart. Country music fills my soul. I love my family more than anything. I love spending time outdoors, on the water, eating good food, and ending the day with a good crime show.
I’m an energizer bunny with a wacky personality. If you’ve ever taken one of my classes, you already know I’ll be singing, dancing, or making a fool of myself to make sure everyone leaves with a smile. Life is serious enough, so I think workouts should be challenging, but they should also be fun!
Thank you to every single person who’s trusted me over the past 12 years, whether you’ve been here since day one or are just now finding us. This community has changed my life just as much as I hope I’ve been able to change yours.
