The EUP Sports Den

I had hoped to never be in a position where i had to post this letter, but here we are.
Dear visitors, supporters, community members, and athletes:
We hope this message finds you well.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of The EUP Sports Den, effective immediately. Despite our best efforts and the incredible support from our community, we have been unable to secure the necessary sponsorship to continue the website.
Since our launch in 2023, we have worked passionately to bring you up-to-date sports coverage, insights, and community engagement. It has been an incredible journey filled with memorable moments and a shared love for sports. However, the rising operational costs and the absence of consistent financial backing have made it unsustainable to move forward.
For the past two years, it has been our sincere privilege to spotlight the incredible talent, dedication, and sportsmanship of high school athletes in our communities. We have been honored to share your stories and celebrate your achievements.
To every student-athlete, coach, athletic director, parent, and fan who followed and supported us – THANK YOU. Your passion for high school sports inspired everything we did. We are proud to have played a small part in recognizing the hard work and success of so many outstanding young individuals.

While the website will no longer be active, our social media pages will remain operational for the time being for any updates or final messages.

Good morning race fans, drivers and volunteers. Following consultation with the National Weather Service in Ga***rd, we have made the difficult decision to cancel today’s events. We will be rescheduling Kids Night with bike giveaway to August 2nd, along with Trick or Treat at the Track. Please have a safe weekend.

The Pickford Panthers get a team photo after capturing their first district title in six years after beating Rudyard in the championship game. We would like to wish our baseball team Good Luck at districts today in Escanaba. Go Blue!!

Pickford Panther Talya Schreiber takes charge during the 1600-meter run at Friday’s Division II Track and Field Regional meet at Pickford. Schreiber won the 800, the 1600, and the 3200 to qualify for the UP Finals in each event and help Pickford to an overall team win. 💯👀🙌🎙💻
