The clouds moved out Saturday afternoon 6/6/26 making way for a great evening in Sault Ste. Marie! There was a decent amount of freighter traffic all day, too! We captured the mighty James R. Barker downbound at Rotary Park with a nice master salute to all the adults and children cheering on! Thanks captain!

In case you didn't hear, we have a new restaurant that just opened on Ashmun Street, the Del Mar! They're open 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. daily!
Happy Freighter Friday! Today we have the BBC Genoa for our featured vessel! We captured it entering Soo Harbor last week. Unique looking freighter! Have a great weekend!

Before you read more, see if you can identify the buildings that were home to Pingatore's Tailor Shop, and Burns Department Store in this 1930s era photograph. The buildings are still there today.
