WHAT IF THAT “BLOATED” FEELING ISN’T ABOUT WHAT YOU ATE?

You know that feeling…

Your rings feel tight.
Your face looks puffy.
Your clothes feel tighter by the end of the day.
You feel heavy, sluggish and just… blah.

Sometimes your body may simply need a little help moving fluid and relaxing.

And THAT is one reason we love lymphatic massage.

But here’s the thing…

Massage isn’t just about relaxation.

🤍 Lymphatic massage — supports healthy lymph flow and fluid movement
🤍Deep tissue — helps release stubborn muscle tension
🔥 Hot stone — promotes deep relaxation and eases tension
🎯 Therapeutic massage — targets specific areas of discomfort and tightness
🤍 Prenatal massage — supports comfort and relaxation during pregnancy
🤍 Relaxation massage — gives your body and nervous system a much-needed reset

Different massage. Different benefits.

Same goal: helping you feel better in your body. 🤍

And if you’ve been feeling puffy, tight, stressed, sore or simply not like yourself lately…

Maybe it’s time to stop thinking of massage as a luxury and start thinking of it as part of your wellness routine.

✨ We have openings at LUXology this week!

Your body has been asking.
Maybe this is your sign.

Imagine your house has clogged drains. Would you keep mopping the floors… or would you unclog the drains first?

That’s exactly how your lymphatic system works.

If your body’s drainage system isn’t moving well, your muscles can stay congested. That’s why some people continue needing deep tissue massage over and over.

Your lymphatic system is your body’s natural drainage system. Unlike your heart, it doesn’t have a pump—it depends on movement, breathing, hydration, and healthy lymph flow.

When lymph isn’t moving efficiently, excess fluid and inflammatory waste products can accumulate in tissues. Tight muscles often develop alongside this congestion, which is why many people keep scheduling deep tissue massage over and over.

✨ That’s where lymphatic massage can make a difference.

A gentle lymphatic massage helps encourage healthy lymph flow, reduce puffiness, ease inflammation, support recovery, and prepare your body to respond better to deeper bodywork.

Many of our clients tell us they:
✔️ Feel lighter
✔️ Have less neck and shoulder tension
✔️ Experience fewer headaches
✔️ Sleep better
✔️ Recover faster after workouts
✔️ Need less aggressive deep tissue work over time

At Luxology Wellness Spa in Savage, we often recommend alternating lymphatic massage with therapeutic or deep tissue massage to help your body work smarter—not harder.

✨ New to lymphatic massage? We’d love to show you why so many of our clients are making it part of their wellness routine.

SOOO GOOD!!!

What I wish someone had told me before I became a mother (from a mental health NP):

I wish someone had told me that becoming a mother would be one of the most beautiful things that ever happened to me and also one of the hardest.

I thought the hard part would be the sleepless nights. Turns out, the hard part was watching my entire identity get shaken up like a snow globe and trying to figure out who I was afterward.

I wish someone had told me that you can love your baby more than you thought was humanly possible and still miss your old life sometimes. That intrusive thoughts can happen to good moms.

That anxiety doesn’t always look like panic. Sometimes it looks like checking if your baby is breathing for the tenth time in an hour.

That crying every day in the beginning doesn’t automatically mean you’re depressed.

That not feeling instantly connected to your baby doesn’t mean you’ve failed some secret motherhood test.

I wish someone had told me that motherhood isn’t just a physical transition. It’s a psychological one. Your body changes. Your relationships change. Your priorities change.

Your brain literally changes.

And somehow you’re expected to act like all of that is normal while keeping a tiny human alive.

As a mental health NP, the biggest thing I wish someone had told me is this:

You do not have to enjoy every moment to be grateful for it. You do not have to love every stage to be a good mom.

You do not have to lose yourself completely to prove how much you love your children. Motherhood is not a test of how much you can sacrifice before you break.

It’s a relationship. One that deserves support, honesty, rest, and a whole lot more grace than most moms ever give themselves.

And if nobody has told you lately: The fact that you worry about being a good mom is usually evidence that you already are one!!

If you are pregnant or postpartum and you just found my page, hi, I’m Kenz!!!!! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and mom of two!! After I gave birth to my first daughter I literally couldn’t believe all of the stuff I didn’t know! So I made something for you, something I wish I would have had! It combines all of the newborn stuff you need to know but ALSO is full of the stuff that’s happening to you, too. The identity shift. Knowing the difference between baby blues and something that actually needs attention. It’s all right here, mostly because you matter just as much as the baby! Comment 40 and I will send you the link.

Just got done with a lymphatic massage… and now I’m out walking.

Not for steps.
Not for calories.
But because this is where the magic actually continues.

Here’s what most people don’t realize…

A proper lymphatic massage doesn’t just “feel good”
it opens your detox pathways.

It gently tells your body:
👉 “Hey… it’s safe to release now.”

But if you go right back to sitting… scrolling… or rushing through life…

That lymph?
It slows right back down.

That’s why I always tell my clients:
Your results don’t stop on the table.

This simple walk?
It helps move everything we just stirred up.
It supports your body in actually clearing what it’s been holding onto.

And here’s my honest moment…

Even as the owner of LUXology…
I sometimes forget to take care of me.

And when I do?
I feel it.

My energy dips.
My body feels heavier.
I’m not as present… not as clear… not as me.

And the truth is—
when I’m not taking care of myself…
I can’t show up the way I want to for:

My clients 🤍
My team 🤍
And those sweet grandbabies who call me Gigi 🤍

So this is your reminder (and mine):

Taking care of your body isn’t a luxury…
it’s how you show up for your life.

If your body has been feeling sluggish, puffy, tired, or “off”…
your lymph might just be asking for a little love.

We’ve got you at LUXology
