So honored to share that I’m one of this year's League of Garmin Captains! 🎉
This journey is all about making fitness accessible, family-friendly, and inclusive—especially for those who might feel as though they don’t belong in traditional fitness spaces. I’m here to co-create unorthodox, fun events that bring people together, crush goals, and nurture communities built on mutual support and assistance.
Stay tuned for what’s to come as we strive for wellness, coherence, and connection—together. Let’s make space to thrive! 💪🏿 💪🏽💪🏻

🌲✨ Better to move together than to leave anyone behind. ✨🌲
Wrapping up 2024 and welcoming 2025 with hikes that brought our family closer—literally and figuratively! 🥾 From December 29 to January 1, my watch face captured every step as we braved the North Georgia mountains with my hubby, three kiddos (3, 5, and 8), and my amazing 77-year-old mother-in-law. ❄️💪
The most bittersweet moment? Our likely last hike with our trusty carrier as we prepare to gift it to friends with younger littles. Passing the torch to the next generation of adventurers! 🥹❤️
Whether it’s a snowy mile or a long trek, this crew reminds me that movement matters most when we do it together. Grateful for my accountability gear like and the memories it helps me track. Here’s to more family adventures, mutual support, and miles ahead in 2025! ✨🏞️
📸 Swipe to see:
➡️ My watch face logging family hikes on Dec 29, Dec 31, and Jan 1.
➡️ Our multi-generational crew hitting the trails.
➡️ Our final Osprey moment including toddler squats with my littlest hiking buddy.
Tagging my mutual support crew to continue moving together in 2025: .di.t 🎉

✨ Honoring Benjamin Willie Scott ✨
Through the incredible journey of genetic genealogy, I’ve discovered Benjamin Willie Scott, a man whose life adds profound meaning to my family story. This discovery began with my late Ghanaian grandmother, Mercy, whose DNA test connected me to my newfound cousin, . From there, I met and Cynthia, sisters in the United States and granddaughters of Benjamin Willie Scott.
As an immigrant to the United States, I never imagined having a personal connection to an American veteran. It is deeply humbling and inspiring to know that I am linked to Benjamin through my late grandmother and the shared African ancestors Vicki, Kim, Cynthia, my mum , and I share. This connection is one of the many we are discovering, bringing us closer as newfound cousins, uniting us across continents and generations.
This journey reminds me that our DNA carries more than the stories of our past. In our DNA, is the potential for the ties that bring us together in the present. It is a testament to the resilience and love of our ancestors, whose legacy continues to inform our lives in powerful ways.
To anyone exploring their roots, your family’s untold stories are waiting to be uncovered. They have the power to connect, inspire, and transform.

I'm trying to get back to basics.
What does coherence look like?
Without comparing myself to others--super hard, how do I give due attention to all the things? Not everything needs to be handled at once. Not everything is equally important at the same time. How can we live more connected, healthy, integrated lives aligned with our sense of purpose?
Right now, praying 🙏🏿 with others, moving 🧘🏿♀️🏃🏿♀️ with others, delving into our ancestral and human connection, and finding ways to support one another are really filling me up right now.
It's a journey. I don't post regularly but I would love to 👂🏿📖 about your efforts at building coherence aligned with your sense of purpose. 👇🏿

I'm pleasantly surprised to say I went for a jog because my Garmin Fitness watch encouraged me with an attainable starting point.
