More from the Atlanta Hyrox event.

The SkiErg is the first workout after run 1, and hits much harder than you'd expect. Likely because the adrenaline wears off after that first 1k run.

The sandbag lunge is among the more grueling workouts, partly because it was workout 7, partially because they just suck.

Had a great time at my first Hyrox event in Atlanta over the weekend.

Very well ran event and incredibly inclusive for adaptive athletes.
Will be posting over the next few days.

Happy Anniversary to this little lady. We had a great time celebrating in Savannah. She got to do a ghost investigation, i was able to visit a local gym. Win-win. We both are not 100% sure whether this is our 22nd or 23rd, and that's why we have made it this long.
BTW it's 22nd, but insists on telling people it's our 23rd. Love you head and hope to have 22 or 23 more!

While doing barbell snatches yesterday something felt off, low and behold i found the rear axle cracked in four different spots on my chair.

My competition season is likely over, which is frustrating but if I had found out by continuing to do snatches and the chair full on breaking, YIKES!

We are going to try to get it welded. A new chair takes 6 months min. So we will see.

1st wheelwod comp and after a grueling year finished 3rd. Not bad for my first year doing crossfit.

Unfortunately I have almost no photos from the weekend as my wheelman was also my wife, . Who did an amazing job even though we had absolutely no prep with her. A million thanks to her putting up with me, she is the best.

put together an unbelievable competition. Great tests, and incredible organization. Heats ran on time for 3 days, across 12 divisions, over 11 workouts. Many thanks to them, including , and

Lastly congrats to my group, pulled away from us, there is a reason he is the best in our division. , and I were neck and neck all weekend. If 1 or 2 workouts jumbled in a different order all 3 of our placings could have been flipped around.

Episode 17: Improving your overhead press, and can we get more effing ramps!! Link in bio.
