๐ fest 2026 ๐ was THE BEST. I love LOVE. I love books. And I especially love reading romance books and connecting with the romance genre community. ๐
Having majored in Writing โ๏ธ in college, romance never felt like a "serious" enough genre. I shied away from writing or reading it, thinking all romance was just trashy airport novels that are never well written. Obviously I was completely naive and listening to too many stuffy writers.
Romance is THE S**T. ๐ฅฐ So sweet, so tender, so spicy, so heartwarming, so raw and real. It's everything I've wanted in a book and more.
I'm so grateful that I found the and that they keep letting me come back and volunteer. ๐ซถ
If you know of other cool book festivals worth checking out please lemme know in the comments ๐

Out of the office and not to be disturbed ๐. Jk I'm working remotely right now as I sort out some things but I'm loving the view. Particularly Hunger by Roxane Gay, who's work is always a treat. I devour her narratives with my own hunger. Hunger for self-assurance, for a sense that I am not alone in this struggle with my body. I highly recommend this read. Honestly, make reading everything that Roxane Gay has ever written your . You'll thank me for it later.
Look out for my review of Margaret Atwood's The Testaments. Because WOWOWOW what a sequel! ๐ณ

Quick read. So well written. Slow start but once it ramps up, youโre hooked. A great exploration of motherhood, parenthood, class, race, social structures, and so much more. Multilayered. Told from many perspectives - which I loved! ๐Celeste Ng killed it. DM me to borrow this book!!
