๐Ÿ’– fest 2026 ๐Ÿ’– was THE BEST. I love LOVE. I love books. And I especially love reading romance books and connecting with the romance genre community. ๐Ÿ“š

Having majored in Writing โœ๏ธ in college, romance never felt like a "serious" enough genre. I shied away from writing or reading it, thinking all romance was just trashy airport novels that are never well written. Obviously I was completely naive and listening to too many stuffy writers.

Romance is THE S**T. ๐Ÿฅฐ So sweet, so tender, so spicy, so heartwarming, so raw and real. It's everything I've wanted in a book and more.

I'm so grateful that I found the and that they keep letting me come back and volunteer. ๐Ÿซถ

If you know of other cool book festivals worth checking out please lemme know in the comments ๐Ÿ‘‡

Out of the office and not to be disturbed ๐Ÿ˜œ. Jk I'm working remotely right now as I sort out some things but I'm loving the view. Particularly Hunger by Roxane Gay, who's work is always a treat. I devour her narratives with my own hunger. Hunger for self-assurance, for a sense that I am not alone in this struggle with my body. I highly recommend this read. Honestly, make reading everything that Roxane Gay has ever written your . You'll thank me for it later.

Quick read. So well written. Slow start but once it ramps up, youโ€™re hooked. A great exploration of motherhood, parenthood, class, race, social structures, and so much more. Multilayered. Told from many perspectives - which I loved! ๐Ÿ’›Celeste Ng killed it. DM me to borrow this book!!
