Bluffton Bruins

On Sunday night the Bruins beat the Gators 12-4 in the semi finals! Onto the championship ! 5/18 the Bs will take on their in-town rival the Bluffton Stars for the SRHL championship. This will be the first time in Savannah Roller Hockey League history that the finals will consist of two teams not from Savannah. Side note: Earlier this season the Stars beat the Bruins 11-7.

Last night the Bruins earned their third win of the season in a blowout win over the Axe 10-3. Bruins goaltender Joe Channel played another fantastic game in net. The Bluffton Bruins (3-0) will take on their cross town rival the Bluffton Stars (3-0) next Sunday @ 7pm. Tune in on fb live to catch this matchup if you can’t make it to Lake Mayer. The Bruins didn’t get to play this weekend, due to a Slugs forfeit . The Bruins improved to 2-0 on the season. Next weekend they will play the Pooler Axe @ 6 pm .

The Bluffton Bruins played their first game of the spring season last night vs the Black biscuit Gators. The Bruins came out on top with a 7-3 victory. The Bruins will play next Sunday vs the Hostess City Slugs. Tune in on Facebook live on the Savannah Hockey page to watch the boys in black and gold.

The Winter draft took place last night. Season opener is February 16th. Let’s go Bruins !

The Bruins begin their quest for the cup tonight against the Blue Crabs @ 5 pm. The team feels eager and excited for playoffs to start.

Captain K. Callow had this to say: “We know how good we can be when we are at our best. If we can simplify our game and play with tenacity, we have a chance to win every single night. Tonight is no different.. I like who we have in the black and yellow and feel really confident in everyone in that room… can’t wait for puck drop ”.
