🚨 long post🚨
This photo carries a lot more than a smile.
Three weeks after giving birth to my son. Two babies under two. Fighting battles I never talked about. On the outside, it looked like I had it all together…a beautiful family, a beautiful marriage, and the dream of being a stay-at-home mom. But what you saw wasn’t the whole story….
I stayed quiet because I was afraid that if I admitted how much I was struggling, people would think I wasn’t a good mother. So I smiled. I showed up. I posted the highlights. While behind closed doors, I was simply trying to survive.
Fast forward to today…
I’m finally healing from the parts of my story I was too afraid to tell. I’ve learned that asking for help doesn’t make you weak, and struggling doesn’t make you unfit. It makes you human.
If you’re in a season where you’re barely holding it together, hear me: your current chapter is not your final one. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to pretend to be okay to deserve love, support, or grace.
So I’ll ask you this… What’s one thing you’ve healed from that people never knew you were going through? ❤️
Some people only knew the version of me that was surviving. This version? She prayed, healed(still healing), cried, forgave, set boundaries, and finally chose peace.
If you’re healing too, this is your reminder: keep going. The right people will never require you to become the unhealed version of yourself again. What’s one lesson healing has taught you?
Sometimes peace looks like rolling the windows down and remembering how far you’ve come.
Sometimes healing looks like picking through the bones to find what still nourishes you!
Releasing the old. Embracing the new. Hello, 36!! 🧡🧡
Sometimes all you need is a good meal, a genuine smile, a peaceful moment, and the ability to simply enjoy where you are!

Long post…
8 years ago I went through a dark dark time…I Alive but not living! Being admitted by law to a mental health institution was a breaking moment for me, so I thought!
I vowed to celebrate June 3-June 16(my birthday) every year after being committed to a mental health facility! I shed tears of happiness now because it honestly could’ve been another way! Depression/anxiety is real! I will continue to advocate for those who can’t or to afraid to speak.
Show love because you only see what is shown! Cheers to being alive and living!
