Progress slowing down doesn’t mean your training has stopped working. It might just mean your body has gotten really good at adapting.
Those quick “newbie gains” at the beginning of a strength journey won’t last forever, and that’s completely normal. As you become more experienced, things like sleep, nutrition, stress, recovery, and the way your training is structured start to matter even more.
Sometimes the answer isn’t simply adding more weight to the bar. It might be changing your rep range, exercises, rest periods, or another training variable to give your body a new reason to adapt.
