We are here at North East Ranch Horse Association over in the cow/portables barn. We're excited for a great weekend full of horses, friends and probably a shenanigan or two. Come visit these three fun prospects or watch for them in the arena throughout the show!

Diamond J Sassy Zan will be shown in the Youth Division by our (temporary) Texas returnee Josh.

SnahzieMazzyFerguson will be going down the fence on Saturday night, also with Josh.

Dun It Peachy will be riding around throughout the weekend and may even try the w/t reining for some ring experience!

Peach is a promising young filly with an excellent pedigree and a strong foundation. She was started with Whiteley Performance Horses and has been thoughtfully developed with a solid start under saddle.

Bred to excel in the ranch and cow horse disciplines, Peach is showing natural interest in working cattle and has the potential to become a talented ranch versatility or show prospect. She has also been ridden out alone on the trails and is gaining valuable experience outside the arena.

2017 AQHA Gelding | 14.1 Hands

JJ is a well-built, athletic 2017 AQHA gelding currently receiving a refresher in ranch and cow horse work. He has been tracking the roping dummy and is confidently working cattle out of a herd. JJ has a very good stop and will continue his roping and cattle training until sold.

He is comfortable out on the trails, although he prefers working in the arena. JJ is best suited for a more advanced rider but is also amateur-friendly with the right partnership.

JJ is easy to handle for the vet, farrier, and trailering. He is currently shod with sliders behind and has previously been shod all the way around during periods of heavier use.

JJ will be attending the NERHA Fall Finale, where he will be shown in select youth classes, providing additional show and performance experience.

A versatile gelding with a strong foundation, good stop, and experience on cattle, JJ would make a nice prospect for someone looking to continue developing a ranch, cow horse, or roping partner. $1*,000

2019 AQHA Reg. gelding with an ARHA Certificate of Eligibility 6 panel test negative. He is 7 years old and 14.1 hands. He has shown in Ranch shows last two years as well as Obstacle Course Challenges.

Direct and neck reins, rides in a Snaffle and bridle, started with romel reins. Rides indoor and outside arenas, day and night under lights. Good for farrier, vet, baths, clips, loads, etc.
Currently Barefoot because he has GREAT feet, UTD teeth & vaccines.

The Sky's the Limit Performance Team had a great weekend at the North East Ranch Horse Association July show! Thank you to NERHA for putting on such a wonderful show.

We had some bumps as is to be expected but also so many good moments, milestones and accomplishments! Thank you to everyone who stepped up and helped out while Karlene was slightly incapacitated, it means the world that we can count on our crew!

Back to the pen to make improvement and then, next stop Upstate Ranch Riders in Schaghticoke first weekend in August! Hope to see you all there!

Smokin Sophisticatt "Karl" 2010 AQHA reg gelding stands at 15.1 hands. Karl has been being actively shown in the ARHA all age in all events and does well. Now that we've settled back into normal life, we wanted to come and congratulate our show team on an amazing weekend at North East Ranch Horse Association Spring Fling! There were some bobbles, some big accomplishments and some things that we' have to work on before the next show, but all in all everyone learned and grew and we're so proud of everyone!

Smokin Sophisticatt and Karlene Bushey had some amazing runs! Karl really came out swinging this weekend and even added some money to his LTE!

Sanjo Hickory Chic and Shawn Bushey had a great ranch cutting run and are bringing home lots of notes to work on before the next show!

Emma Finch and First Time Smokin had a fabulous weekend topping the list and winning champion in Youth Versatility, Novice Youth Versatility, Novice Youth High Point Cattle AND a buckle in the Novice Youth Ranch Boxing! Pretty good for only 2 months together, can't wait to see what this team does in July!

Laura Mickan and her husband Joe McCue both won their first buckles! Laura in the Novice Am Ranch Roping and Joe in the All Age Ranch Roping! Lenas Nu Zephroys and Spuds (Mista Potata Head) really took to a whole new atmosphere and held their own in all their classes!

Kathleen Froome Howe and her new mare Cash N Pink Chex, did a lot of confidence building and working on becoming a team and we're so proud of how they both navigated the weekend.

Courtney Bruso and Maui That's Who had some good rides, and Courtney has already made a list of things for the two of them to work at between now and the next show! So proud of her for taking the initiative to better her and her horse!

Erika L Powers and WH A Certain Invite killed their showmanship coming in 2nd, and held their own in their other classes. A few things to work on before July, but Erika is a hard worker and has already gotten straight to work! Can't wait to see this team in July!

Chelsea Marie and Who Whiz Que held their own and had respectable placings in the Novice Amateur classes!

Smart Sportolena got stolen from his IEA horse life to come play ranch horse for Annie Baldwin and Linda Slezak while their personal horses were home. It was a big learning curve figuring out a new horse on the fly and at a show, but both did awesome!

The Finest Class got out of her Pleasurey comfort zone and was piloted by her owner Aneisha Liska to top the WT Showmanship chart and then also tried her hand at some riding classes with Alyssa Burns with respectable placings!

All in all a wonderful weekend, with great people! Can't wait to see all the improvements in July and add a couple more horses and riders!
