The PAPA World Headquarters just outside of Pittsburgh featured more than 400 pinball machines and was used to operate the PAPA World Championships, the largest and most competitive pinball tournament in the world, as well as the Pinburgh Match-Play Championship, the largest match-play pinball tournament in the world.

PAPA 23 We did it AGAIN — yes, WE! Thank you doesn't cover the appreciation we have for such a successful LFS Memorial Tournament for Su***de Awareness and supportive pinball community!

The Lyman Bounty which was new for PAPA23 was claimed by Arvid Flygare!!! Congratulations!!

In honor of the 988 Foundation, the bounty was $988 and a custom medal was created. The only way to win was if you were the number 1 seed at the end of Main qualifying...and every single one of your top 10 games are Lyman's.

We are pleased to be introducing The Lyman Bounty at PAPA23 this year! Lyman was the best, he was legendary...and that's what you'll have to be if you want to take down this bounty. Thanks to The Pinball Capital we have enough Lyman games to do this!

In honor of the 988 Foundation, this bounty will be $988 and will have a custom medal. The only way to win it is if you are the number 1 seed at the end of Main qualifying...and every single one of your top 10 games are Lyman's.

Lyman loved the hyper difficulty of the early PAPAs so this felt like another great way to honor his memory and the memory of those early foundational events in the competitive pinball world. The LFS admin team hopes someone is up for the challenge and we wish you luck! Be like Lyman, be legendary.

Hey everyone! After lots of great conversations at Pinburgh, we wanted to share an important (and exciting!) reminder: PAPA 23 will NOT be card format this year — it’s HYBRID BEST GAME!

It came to our attention that there was a technical error in our draw for the new-in-box Stern Pinball giveaway on Saturday night at Pinburgh 2026.

Connor Mulberry’s name was drawn and he is still the proud owner of the new-in-box Stern Pinball machine! Congratulations Connor.

On Sunday morning during the WIPT broadcast, we are pleased to announce we will be making another draw for a second new-in-box Stern Pinball machine!
