Some days you’re the bug and some days you’re the windshield. This week we experienced both.
Live bats and solid pitching brought us a nice win in Elmhurst earlier in the week and we had a rough go and loss against the Silverhawks this weekend.
Onto what should be a fun tournament in Bloomingdale this week and weekend.

After a tough week last week, the Carol Stream Cougars 10U Blue bounced back last night to kick off a new week winning 23-4, collecting 17 hits and plenty of extra bases. They also only allowed 3 hits. Nice night for the guys offensively along w/ great pitching. Ryan Stakenas, along with several others, shined at the plate going 3-4 with a home run.
Join us for the 🇺🇸 Carol Stream Cougars Memorial Day Classic 🇺🇸 this weekend at Armstrong Park.
The boys were able to hang on tonight winning a long game in the 🥶 22-18 versus DuPage Revolution 10U.
Special shoutout to Maddox Laszczak for lacing a base clearing 3 run triple down the left field line late in the game and then closing the game out by catching a hard shot to right field that nearly took his head off! Way to go 👊.

After tough 3 losses by a combined 5 runs, this Cougars team went out and had a day today. Almost came back earlier in the week for a huge comeback win, great game simulation and position work yesterday at our practice and an all around good 10-5 win today.
This team is fun because each player is adding something. One guy falls and another picks him up. Excellent improvement in catching and a fine outing by all three pitchers today. Some bats are coming alive and this team is talking in the field better than ever. Solid sportsmanship by the kids as well. And they’re managing to have some fun in the process.

⚾️ Cougars 10U Blue Weekly Recap ⚾️
A couple close losses and a little humble pie for the boys this past week, but also great advice from the coaches on how to overcome adversity and a few key things to work on. Back on the field tomorrow and the squad will be swinging the bats. Deep team, lots of potential and a great group.

A good practice, a stormed out practice but some fun in the dugout, holding our own and storming a massive comeback in a good scrimmage with Cougars 10U Black and a squeaker of a win against the Bartlett Rebels to cap it off. Nice playing by the fellas in what was a crazy week of weather 🌧️ 🥶 ⚡️ ☁️. Onto a new week. Great group.
