Off-Season Spotlight: Rubie
Rubie has been putting in the work this off-season and challenging herself every step of the way. At the Ladies Unleashed Warzone Tournament in Michigan, she earned the second-fastest pin of the tournament with a 16-second fall and won 6 of her 8 matches, earning recognition as one of the tournament’s top competitors.
Never one to shy away from a challenge, Rubie chose to wrestle up in several tournaments, competing against girls who were up to 30 pounds heavier and several years older. By testing herself against tougher competition, she continues to grow her skills and prepare for an even stronger season next year.
We’re proud of Rubie’s dedication, work ethic, and willingness to step outside her comfort zone to improve. Keep up the great work, Rubie! 💪🤼♀️🏆

📢 MadDog Dine & Donate – Supporting One of Our Own
Typically, our Dine-to-Donate events support our current or upcoming seasons—but today, we’re coming together for something even more important: supporting a member of our extended MadDog family.
Depending on when you were involved with MadDog, you may remember the Ciupka family. Zac Ciupka wrestled with MadDog for many years in the early 2000s. His sister, Jessica Michelle , was always there... supporting him and his teammates every step of the way, often serving as the go-to team babysitter and keeping many younger siblings entertained during tournaments.
Today, Jess needs our help. She was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma earlier this year and is currently undergoing various treatments and surgeries.
❤️ Join us at Village Tavern in Schaumburg
📅 June 6

🍽️ 20% of your pre-tax bill will be donated directly to support Jess (just tell them you're with her dine-to-donate)
If you’re able, please stop by or carryout, grab a meal, and help us give back to someone who gave so much to this community.

A wrestling family that means so much to the MadDog community needs us right now.
The Klinick family is facing an incredibly difficult time as Kris battles a serious medical crisis. Both Kris and Jen are currently unable to work, while also managing childcare and the many financial challenges that come with this situation.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing their story. Every bit of support big or small makes a real difference. Let’s come together and show just how strong and supportive the MadDog community can be.

We’re incredibly proud of our current and former MadDogs who balanced their youth wrestling season and their Jr. High season at the same time. These athletes put in the work!

We are excited to share that some of our newest MadDog Alumni are already making a name for themselves at the start of their high school careers. It comes as no surprise to us that these wrestlers have qualified for freshman/sophomore state. We can’t wait to watch you grow and continue to see what’s next!
Congratulations to:
